ANTHEM BCBS MEDICARE ADVANTAGE Plans

 With a Medicare Advantage HMO plan, you’ll choose a primary care  physician (PCP) whom you’ll see for check-ups and regular exams. Your  PCP can also help you find the right specialists when you need them. 

 With a Medicare Advantage PPO, you can see any doctor or specialist in  the plan without a referral. You can also see doctors outside of the  plan, but the services may cost more. 

 A Medicare flex card such as the Anthem Benefits Prepaid Card gives you  convenient access to benefits your plan provides. It works just like a  prepaid credit or debit card and can have multiple options for use,  including online purchases. Use it for those expenses you are eligible  to receive an allowance for such as groceries, over-the-counter health  items, and utilities. We make it all easy by pre-loading the card with  your spending amounts so it’s ready for use. 

 Anthem offers dental coverage packages to complement certain Medicare  plans. Whether you need one depends on the type of Medicare plan you  have.
